Steve started his life as a commodity. He was bred into this world with the intention of becoming someone's dinner. He was even shipped off to a meat locker, but his life was spared by a very compassionate groundskeeper. Steve came to live with us with his best friend Rob, after Rob was attacked by a coyote. 
 
Today, Steve spends his days surrounded by friends and lots of love. He's one of the friendliest and most social residents we have! He shares a very special, lifelong bond with Rob- you'll never find the two very far from each other. Steve was named after a brave and heroic character from Stranger Things by one of our biggest supporters.
