Monkey came to us with her best buddy, Marley. Monkey and Marley were our very first rescues! They came to live at IFS on the 4th of July when they were only a month old. Monkey and Marley were rescued from a HUGE breeding facility, where they were sentenced to death for being the runts of their litters. A heroic employee could not stand to kill her and sent her and Marley to live happy lives free of confinement and abuse. Monkey was always bigger than Marley and therefore always wanted to protect him. Now a days, Marley doesn't need so much protection and that leaves Monkey to just enjoy a normal pig life.
