Matty came to us from the Animal Rescue League with his pals Otis and Leon. Shortly after their rescue, Mattys best friend Leon died. Matty was pretty depressed for a while and we tried to get him to be close with Otis unsuccesfully. Matty is pretty scared of Otis, as he can be a bit of a bully. Most of the time Matty can be found in our front pasture grazing with Carl the Cow and Bennie the Goat. We are unsure what kind of human contact Matty had in his short life, but judging by his timidness we are left to assume it wasn't the best. To this day, Matty will only let us close to him if we have carrots. It will take some time, but Matty will learn to love and be loved.
