Kayla (the fighter) must've known things were not looking good for her when she steped on to that livestock trailer. Kayla and hundreds of other piglets were headed down Interstate 80 near Des Moines when she decided to make a break for it. Aside from some road rash, Kayla came out unharmed. We hate to even imagine where Kayla would be right now if she would not have taken that leap; she was likely headed to a CAFO to get fattened up for slaughter. Kayla now lives peacfully alongside Monkey, Marley and Sammy and is free to feel the sunshine on her back, roll in the mud and be loved.
