Hope came to us from an extremely large (huge) breeding facility. She, like Monkey and Marley, was a runt and therfore sentenced to death by blunt force trauma. Aside from being a the runt Hope was also stepped on causing her a broken foot and hoove. On the day that she was sent to die, a heroic employee rescued her. Not only did this employee rescue her, but they loved her and healed her wounds. Hope is still young and we can already tell that her deformed hoof may give her problems down the road. If hope continues to grow at the rate she has been, her bum leg will not support her weight. Our vet has examined her foot and we are keeping a very close eye on it. Hope spends her days out under the apple tree with her best bud, Bennie.
