Dannie and his "brother," Donnie, were rescued from a dairy operation. A group of vegan activists set out to investigate the farm and ended up leaving with these two; who were fighting for their lives. They were only a few days old when they were saved from becoming veal and were immediately taken to the vet where they were monitored around the clock for almost two weeks. Once they were in "fair" condition, they made the long journey to Iowa Farm Sanctuary. Dannie and Donnie are quite literally inseparable, and their bond is unbreakable. They are great eaters and will stick around for a chin scratch and a cuddle once their bottle is gone. They listen to their big "brother" Carl very wel thoughl, and try not to steal all of the snuggles.
