Bennie is always a visitors fave! Since living in our house for the first couple months of his life, he became very domesticated and will follow you anywhere, and he will cry when you leave him behind. Bennie came to IFS toward the end of August at just a week old, umbilical cord still attached. Because he was a runt and the farmer did not have the time to bottle feed him, he was headed to the livestock auction (not a good destination). A neighbor found out where he was headed and protested until the farmer gave him up to her. Bennie was so tiny and malnourished when we got him, we didn't broadcast his arrival in fear of his death. After just a few days of bottle feeding, Bennie came around and became the spunky boy we all know him to be now. Not only is Bennie a hit with people, ALL of our other resident animals love him as well... the pigs will even let him eat with them!
