Carl had a pretty rough start to his life. When he was just two days old, he was taken from his mother and was sent to auction to be sold into the veal industry. Lucky for him, there was a kind person at the auction that day that purchased him and brought him to our sanctuary to live a life full of love and devoid of the horrors that he would have been exposed to in the veal industry. Today, Carl is huge and healthy. His best friend's name is Bennie the goat, and they are rarely found apart-- they even share a stall at night!
